The Business Administration Division of Pepperdine University seeks a candidate with an earned Ph.D. in Financial Economics or a related field for a one-year visiting position. Applicants should complete all requirements for the Ph.D. before August 1, 2025. A strong candidate who is ABD would be considered. Successful candidates should be able to teach undergraduate courses in Corporate Finance, Investments, and Financial Literacy. Prior teaching experience is preferable but not required.
The business program at Seaver College is accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). US News and World Report ranks Pepperdine University in the top colleges and universities in the country and we have a Research 2 designation. We have approximately 975 undergraduate students in the Business Administration Division. Despite a large number of majors, our classes are small (rarely more than 30 students) and our faculty is collegial and collaborative. The salary for this appointment will range from $115,000 to $130,000 and reflects what Pepperdine University reasonably expects to pay for this faculty appointment.
