We are Harper College…the college in your community.
The College was established by referendum in 1965 and opened September 1967. It is named for Dr. William Rainey Harper, a pioneer in the junior college movement in the United States and the first president of the University of Chicago.
Harper College is now one of the nation’s premier community colleges and one of the largest, serving approximately 29,000 students annually in Chicago’s northwest suburbs. The College’s academic programs prepare students for rewarding careers and for transfer to four-year universities. QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled at Harper College for at least 6 credit hours during Spring and Fall (3 credit hours during Summer)
- Ability to send and respond to emails, submit timecards, and perform basic tasks
- Ability to safely lift at least 40 pounds
Preferred Experience:
- Lab/shop experience
- Electronics knowledge, especially components and measuring (tape measure, multi-meter)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Must have availability to work Monday through Thursday between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Maximum 20 hours per week; minimum 10 hours per week (15+ preferred).

ABOUT THE TEAM
The Career and Technical Programs provide programs of study that involve a multiyear sequence of courses that integrate core academic knowledge with technical and occupational knowledge to provide students with a pathway to postsecondary education and careers.
