What is Saint Mary’s College?
Founded in 1863, Saint Mary’s is a residential campus nestled 20 miles east of San Francisco in the picturesque Moraga Valley. Based in the Catholic, Lasallian and Liberal Arts traditions, Saint Mary’s currently enrolls more than 4,500 students from diverse backgrounds in undergraduate and graduate programs. The De La Salle Christian Brothers, the largest teaching order of the Roman Catholic Church, guide the spiritual and academic character of the College.

We offer medical, dental, vision, life, AD & D, long term disability, paid time off, retirement benefits, and an EAP program to staff that work a minimum of 1,560 hours per year and faculty teaching 6 or more courses per academic year.
Staff employees that work 1,040 to 1,559 hours per year and faculty teaching 5 courses per academic year are eligible for health, dental, and vision coverages as well as paid time off. These benefits are limited to a pro rata amount based on the percentage of full -time employment.
