Job Description
Job Summary
The Task Worker (Game Staff) will provide support to the designated
sport as directed by a Athletic supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide event support to the designated sport.
- Duties include, but are not limited to scoreboard, public
address, instant replay, video streaming, and
photography. - Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirement
- Education – High school graduate or
equivalent. - Experience – 1 Year experience in related sport
activity. - May not be a currently enrolled undergraduate student at Texas
A&M International University.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Commitment and capabilities to abide by NCAA By-Laws and Lone
Star Conference regulations.
Ability to:
- Interact effectively and professionally with the general
public. - Work under stress and with pressing timelines.
- Multi-task.
- Communicate effectively, orally and in writing.

Other Requirements
- Position is temporary, assigned per game/event and on an
as-needed basis. - The above job duties may not be performed in every task worker
position and may not include all related duties that might be
performed. - Position requires working days, evenings, and/or weekends at
home games/events. - Position requires strict punctuality to arrive to work promptly
at the scheduled time. - Position requires on campus, face-to-face
interactions. - Position requires maintaining a regular schedule of attendance
in the workplace.
Pay of Rate: $20.00/hourly for up to 15 hours weekly
