Responsible for various accounting functions to ensure accurate
financial reporting and compliance and to assist with the
maintenance of financial records and systems to support various
departments, funds, or programs.
Salary & Benefits: $60,000-$80,000, commensurate with
experience

Primary Duties:
- Overall, manage the accounting responsibilities for
Designation, Auxiliary, and Retirement Funds. - Assist with accounting activities in Athletics and lead the
NCAA triennial audit, as well as annually prepare associated
workpapers for annual reporting requirements. - Preparation of pension and OPEB quarterly/yearly accounting and
reporting including related note disclosures. - Assist with accounting activities for WGVU and assist with the
WGVU annual audit, including preparation of related workpapers,
financial statements, and note disclosures. - Reconciles various ledger account activity, including payroll
and benefit liabilities. - Perform other duties as required/assigned by leadership.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Minimum five (5) years related work experience.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to
ensure effective interactions with individuals at all levels and
backgrounds. - Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines, work
independently, take initiative, and maintain confidentiality. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of software (MS Excel,
Word, PowerPoint, and MS Teams).
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Master’s degree in accounting.
- Eight (8) years related work experience.
- CPA certification.
Working Conditions: Normal office environment. Some travel
may be required.
