The Department of Chemistry at Central Washington University (Ellensburg, WA) anticipates a full-time temporary lecturer opening for the 2025-2026 academic year. Teaching responsibilities will be primarily introductory and upper division chemistry lecture and laboratory courses for science majors as well as non-science majors. The incumbent will possess superior teaching abilities and a willingness to teach a wide range of courses at all levels and modalities. This person will be invited to participate as a full member of the department. Faculty will integrate CWU’s commitment to diversity and create a learning environment that is welcoming, accessible and inclusive for all students as well as contributing to the department and its programs.

Salary: $52,000 – $56,000, based on a full-time nine-month appointment and depending on education and experience.
Schedule/Appointment: Non-Tenure Track, 9-month Appointment. Additional summer teaching may be available.
