Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics

The Department of Economics at Salisbury University is accepting applications for a one-year full time non-tenure-track visiting position to begin in the fall of 2025.

Area of Specialization: Preference will be given to candidates with a focus in Macroeconomics.

Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities: teaching courses at the undergraduate level, service/outreach to the University, advising and mentoring. Candidates must demonstrate an effective teaching style that supports a diverse student body.

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Economics or ABD.

Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates who have expertise in macroeconomics field; however, application will be considered for any applicant who can teach intermediate macroeconomics.

Applications received by April 30, 2025 will be given first consideration. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment is expected to begin in August 2025.
