Visiting Assistant Professor of Art Education

The Department of Art is seeking a visiting assistant professor in art education for the 2025-2026 school year whose scholarship is rooted in art education teacher preparation, new media, and contemporary inquiry-driven pedagogies.
The ideal candidate should be able to teach art education courses for Prek-12th grade art teacher preparation and new media art education as well as mentoring graduate students on capstone research projects. The visiting art education assistant professor will be part of the art education program, which is an area within the Department of Art.
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about teaching preservice art education students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The teaching load is three courses per semester (3/3) for the 2025-2026 school year.
