Position Details
Non- Tenurable Faculty: Division of Biological Sciences (DBS)
Title: Instructor
Schedule: August 2025, Full time, Academic year position (10 months)
Salary: Commensurate with education and experience

Primary Duties: Primary duties include teaching, scholarship, and service.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or D.Sc. preferably in anatomy, physiology, or related area
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching including both lecture and laboratory courses
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with faculty, graduate assistants, undergraduate teaching assistants and support staff
Preferred
- Large-classroom teaching experience in the above subjects at the university level and evidence of innovation in lecture or laboratory teaching
- Recent research experience in one or more of the above disciplines is also viewed very favorably because opportunities exist to mentor undergraduate research
