Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; must have at least eight to ten years of experience in college athletics or related field, with previous executive leadership responsibilities in a NCAA Division I Department of Athletics

License/Certification Required

Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Administrative Oversight

    • Oversight of the Director of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) position, and responsible for the Department of Athletics’ Student-Athlete NIL operations
    • Develop Department of Athletics NIL / Revenue Share policies & procedures
    • Assist Head Coaches with program-specific Roster Planning, Scholarship, Alston, NIL, and Revenue Share strategies
    • Serve as a part of the recruitment & retention team to secure commitments of prospective and current student-athletes
    • Coordinate communications between Coaches, Student-Athletes, Agents, and other parties regarding Student-Athletes’ financial package
    • Liaison with various key Campus constituents

2. Primary Sport Administrator for Women’s Basketball.

  • Set annual performance expectations in conjunction with the head coach
  • Attend monthly sport program compliance meetings
  • Administer annual student-athlete exit interviews
  • Attend all home events, travel with the team as needed
  • Participate in searches for sport-related coaches and staff
  • Approve all competition schedules in consultation with the head coach
  • Approve all sport expenditures; review sport budgets on a monthly basis
  • Collaborate with the Academic Services for Student-Athletes staff
  • Communicate potential program issues in a timely manner with the Director of Athletics
  • Conduct a formal annual performance evaluation of the head coach

3. Represent Director of Athletics at various Meetings & Events

4. Coordinate department employment and other assigned contract negotiations.

5. Donor Relations – Attend donor-related events and meetings as needed.

6. Commitment to and compliance with the University’s and Department of Athletics’ policies and procedures as well as the conference and NCAA constitutions, bylaws, legislation, and regulations.

7. Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
